COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Access Is Earned. Standards Are Non-Negotiable

The Land Specialist Community (LSC) is a private, moderated professional community accessible only to members holding an active CLS™ designation at Level 2 or above. Membership is a privilege, not a right. These Guidelines are the conditions under which that privilege is maintained.

Eligibility and Access

Access to the LSC requires:

  • Active enrollment in LOT LOGIC™ Level 2 (CLS™ Certification) or any higher tier
  • Completion of all required Level 2 coursework and certification assessment (for full designation status)
  • Annual renewal of CLS™ designation fee ($195/year) to maintain active status

Access is suspended automatically if your annual renewal lapses. Access is terminated immediately upon violation of these Guidelines or upon termination of your account under the Terms of Use.

The Five Professional Standards

Standard 1 — Professionals Only

Every member has earned their CLS™ designation. Conduct yourself accordingly. Generic questions that belong in a beginner forum do not belong here. If a question can be answered by a Google search, do the Google search first. The LSC is for practitioners applying the LOT LOGIC™ system to real-world transactions.

Standard 2 — Real Deals Only

When you share a deal or ask for feedback, bring real numbers, real properties, and real circumstances. Hypothetical scenarios, academic exercises, and general-interest questions are not appropriate for deal review threads. This community is for practitioners who are actively working. Share what you're actually evaluating.

Standard 3 — Give Before You Take

The members who get the most from the LSC are the ones who contribute first. Before you post a question, ask yourself: What have I contributed this week? Share what you're seeing in your market. Respond to other members' deal threads. Post observations from your field work. The community is only as valuable as what everyone puts into it.

Standard 4 — No Solicitation

The LSC is not a lead generation platform. You may not use the community to solicit business from other members, promote third-party products or services, recruit for external programs, or pitch investments. Referrals happen organically when members know and trust each other. Unsolicited pitching — public or private message — is not permitted and will result in immediate removal.

Standard 5 — Confidentiality

What gets shared in the LSC stays in the LSC. Deal specifics, client situations, financial details, proprietary frameworks shared by other members, and any information disclosed in community threads is shared in confidence. You may not screenshot, republish, share, or distribute content from the LSC to any outside party, platform, or person. Violations result in permanent removal.

Additional Community Rules

  • Treat all members with professional respect. Personal attacks, harassment, discrimination, or hostile conduct of any kind will result in immediate removal.
  • Do not post content that infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right.
  • Do not post confidential client information, personally identifying information of third parties, or sensitive financial data without proper redaction.
  • Do not post content that is misleading, defamatory, fraudulent, or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent or undermine the moderation of the community.

User-Generated Content (UGC) Policy
